Jarek Śmietana, the best Polish jazz guitar player, will present his premier "Spring Suite", which we will hear in an accompaniment of quintet composed of world-class artists - Maciej Sikała, Paweł Tomaszewski, Adam Czerwiński and the orchestra under the conduct of Krzesimir Dębski. Another star is a saxophonist, composer, arranger and producer Grzegorz Piotrowski who will present his international band consisting of ethnic instruments virtuoso players. There are musicians from Norway, Bulgaria, Moldavia, Netherlands and Ural. Polish part will be represented by Grzegorz Piotrowski (leader), harp player Sandra Kopijkowska, Achemik String orchestra and rhythm section with pianist Marcin Wasilewski. Project by Piotrowski is a sophisticated synthesis of world music, jazz and improvised sounds. The concert At Mały Rynek will be finished with the band Syndicate, formed in 1988 by a legendary keyboard player Joe Zawinul who played in Cracow with this band ( in a different makeup) short before his death in 2007. Artists, cooperating with their master, decided to continue his art and today they form the band made up of Emile Parisien (saxophone), Thierry Eliez ( Key instruments), Munir Hossn (guitar), Alune Wade (bass guitar), Pac Sery (drummer) and Aziz Sahmaoui and Jorge Bazerra (drum instrumnts). In their music Syndicate joins the elements of jazz, ethnic and fussion music. An extraordinary night concert will be awaiting us in Manggha Centre where Marek Bałata with his guest (Beata Pater) will present various music concepts and visions of Czesław Miłosz poetry. We also invite you to many different night concerts in Cracow's clubs."
