In 2007 The Core "Blue Sky" record was regarded as one of ten best records of the year by Jazzwise -the biggest European jazz magazine, and the group was nominated to the most prestigious Norwegian music prize- Spellemannsprisen.
On the first Polish tour The Core played jams with artists like Asfalt Records: Fisz Emade Tworzywo, Bassisters Orchestra and Muzykoterapia generating intercultural music space. We are proud of Krzysztof Komeda, but there are no continuation of his work or even skillful interpretation with scarce exceptions. It was done by French -. Bertrand Ravalard Quartet with passion perform pieces by Krzysztof Komeda and Andrzej Trzaskowski. For years he specializes in their works interpretations and sometimes he adds his own and often he makes it better than Polish musicians. All arrangements are by Bertrand Ravalard – pianist.. "A night for Astor" is a program prepared by Italian musicians with a guest clarinet virtuoso Gabriel Mirabassi comprised of legendary Astor Piazzola compositions and this is present on many festivals for three years. In 2007 the group was excellent welcomed at Jazz na Starowce Festival in Warszawa, and in April 2008 similarly during Gulf Jazz Festival in Dubai, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Presenting "A night for Astor" project, Nuevo Tango Ensemble performed on numerous concerts in Europe on stages of fine theaters (Paesiello in Lecce, Abeliano inBari, Giordano in Foggia, Eliseo in Rome, Regio in Torino, Nymphenburg Castle in Munchen) in jazz clubs (Duc Des Lombardes in Paris, La Palma and Alexander Platz in Rome, Ferrara Jazz Club, Folk Club in Torino, Chorus in Loussane, La Spirale in Friburg, Porgy & Bess in Vienna and many others) on festivals (Dusseldorfer Jazz Rally 2006 , Tam Jazz 2007 in Pedaso, Bolzano Jazz 2006, Bucarest Music Festival 2006, Fivizzano International Festival 2004, Senigallia Tango Festival, Macerata Jazz Festival, and more).

Urszula Dudziak is Polish jazz vocalist and composer. Her professional singers debut had place in 1958, when she became Krzysztof Komeda group soloist. Later she cooperated with Edward Czerny orchestra, and since 1964 until end of eighties with Michał Urbaniak. Initially she was interesting in traditional jazz music, performing on International Jazz Music Festival Jazz Jamboree (1969-1972). Later (1971) she was found of voice processing devises music. She used for the first time devise of this kind in recording of an album in duet with Adam Makowicz - Newborn Light (1972).
In 1973 she immigrated to New York, playing with M. Urbaniak and solo (in One Woman Show using electronic equipment) almost in all USA and Canada, including on Newport Jazz Festival and in Carnegie Hall. "Los Angeles Times" nominated her a vocalist of the year 1979. She recorded about 50 albums, and performed together with artists like: Bobby McFerrin, Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Ron Carter, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, Gil Evans, Sting, Lionel Hampton. Above-mentioned album Newborn Light recorded with Adam Makowicz for American Columbia got in prestige American magazine "Down Beat" maximal five stars rating.
In 1981 she started work with Vocal Summit group. In 80ties she also cooperate with G. Evans and A. Shepp. She took part in many music events, including important jazz festivals worldwide.
She came back to Poland 1985 after many years abroad. Then she sung with Bobby McFerrin on Jazz Jamboree festival in Warszawa. Since then she shows up often in Poland..
